Tesla CEO Elon Musk has acquired Twitter for $44 billion
In the biggest news of the week, Twitter announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an entity wholly owned by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, for $54.20 per share in cash in a transaction valued at approximately $44 billion. OnePlus 10 series gets a new smartphone in India
A new device has been added to the recently unveiled OnePlus 10 series. The company hosted an event to launch the OnePlus 10R smartphone in India. The smartphone joins OnePlus 10 Pro launched earlier this year. The 10R supports 150W SuperVOOC charging and is powered by a MediaTek processor. Xiaomi 12 series’ most-premium smartphone launched in India
Smartphone giant Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 12 series at an event in India with the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone. This device that features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and supports 120W superfast charging was launched globally in March. Realme GT Neo 3 with MediaTek SoC and 150W fast charging support debuts
Another BBK Electronics-owned tech brand Realme launched its flagship device Realme GT Neo 3 at an event this week. The company also launched Realme Buds Q2s, Realme Pad Mini and Realme Smart TV X. Realme GT Neo 3 boasts 150W fast charging support and comes powered by a Dimensity 8100 processor. The device supports up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and starts at Rs 36,999. Xiaomi unveils the OLED Vision TV and Xiaomi TV 5A in India

Google Play Data Safety section introduced to secure Android user data
Google Play Data safety section, a dedicated segment in the app listing page, will provide users with more transparency in regards to their app data and how they are being used are secured by the app developers.
