CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out of the remainder of the IPL due to a rib injury, days after quitting the captaincy role.
Ravindra Jadeja has been an integral part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for almost ten years. In a recent development, it was stated that the all-rounder has been ruled out of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a bruised rib. He suffered the injury during the clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on May 4, 2022. “Ravindra Jadeja reported a bruised rib and was unavailable for Chennai Super Kings’ game against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. He was under observation and based on medical advice he has been ruled out for the rest of the IPL season,” CSK said in an official statement. The sudden departure of the 33-year-old mid season has given a rise to several speculations among the netizens. Pictures of Jadeja are going viral online with many showing concern and praying for his speedy recovery. It further sparked rumours of a rift with the franchise. Hours after Jadeja’s departure, reports began to surface that the cricketer has been unfollowed by the official Instagram account of CSK. Jadeja sure had a roller coaster ride this season. He even gave up his captaincy to MS Dhoni, after eight IPL matches. Without the all-rounder, the Yellow Army’s chances of playoffs qualification will also be hit further.
